- ITI in any trade from NCVT/SCVT, OR
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) by NCVT.

Selection Process (Step-by-Step)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Main written exam (objective, 100 marks – Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GK/Current Affairs).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying (as above).
- Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination.
- Final merit list based on CBT normalized marks.
